About the client

Ardon is a Czech brand of workwear, safety footwear, outdoor clothing and personal protective equipment. Its products are designed in Olomouc and Prague and shipped from the brand’s own logistics centre in Olomouc, for men, women and kids.

The challenge

A large technical catalogue that has to stay in sync.

Ardon’s range is broad and detailed: workwear, footwear and protective equipment in many colours, sizes and safety classes, each with its own specifications. All of that data already lives in Ardon’s ERP and its own product system. Re-entering it by hand in a new store would mean duplicated work, inconsistent information and a catalogue that drifts away from reality.

The solution

A proven storefront, powered by a custom data bridge.

Instead of reinventing a store that already works, we brought the ardon.cz experience to Croatia with minimal, market-specific changes. The real work happened behind the storefront: a custom Shopify app that pulls product data from Ardon’s ERP and product system and keeps the Croatian store in sync.

What we did

01

Store replication

Ardon.cz’s structure, navigation and templates, carried over to Croatia with minimal, market-specific changes.

02

Custom Shopify app

A dedicated app that connects Shopify to Ardon’s ERP and its own product system.

03

Product data sync

Product information flows in from the source, so the store reflects Ardon’s data instead of a manual copy of it.

04

Croatian B2C channel

A new storefront ready to replace the deprecated ardon.hr and sell directly to customers in Croatia.

01

Don’t redesign what already works.

Ardon.cz already gives customers a clear way through a large range: men, women and kids, workwear and outdoor, footwear and protective equipment. We carried that structure over, so the Croatian store launches on a tested foundation rather than a fresh experiment.

02

One source of truth for product data.

The custom Shopify app connects the store to Ardon’s ERP and its own product system. Product information is pulled in from where it already lives, instead of being maintained by hand in a second place.

03

A store that keeps itself current.

When products change at the source, the Croatian store follows. Ardon’s team manages the catalogue where it already lives, and Shopify does what it does best: the storefront and the checkout.

Outcome

CZ → HR

One catalogue, two markets

Technology

Shopify, extended with a custom integration.

Shopify runs the storefront and checkout, while a custom Shopify app acts as the integration layer between the store, Ardon’s ERP and its product system. [Add: ERP name, what data is synced (prices, stock, variants) and how often.]
